Will have to go to the link to see the race between Parsons, Vaughn and Chase. Highly recommend.
Chase, meanwhile, stands at 6-foot and weighs 200 pounds, while Vaughn enters the league as one of its smallest players at 5-foot-6 and 176 pounds. And yet, Parsons ran stride for stride with both of them.
We would venture to say that Parsons would have glided past both players had the second set of cones been placed farther back. The Defensive Player of the Year finalist simply has an extra gear. We see it when he chases down ball-carriers from the opposite sideline and gets to the QB in the blink of an eye around the edge.
And how about a little credit for Deuce Vaughn? Though lighter than Parsons and Chase, the undersized back had to overcome shorter strides and still ran stride-for-stride with the two All-Pro talents. That's a testament to his short-area quickness and overall speed: two qualities that show why he was drafted, regardless of his size.

Cowboys' Micah Parsons, Deuce Vaughn workout with Ja'Marr Chase
Are you serious, Parsons? Remember, folks, we're talking about a 6-foot-4, 245 pound linebacker and soon-to-be-full-time-defensive-end. It's reasonable to assume Parsons has tacked on a few pounds since he was drafted.Chase, meanwhile, stands at 6-foot and weighs 200 pounds, while Vaughn enters the league as one of its smallest players at 5-foot-6 and 176 pounds.
