The Cowboys are on a roll right now. Solid moves so far:

1. Not tagging Schultz
2. Cutting Zeke
3. Trading for Gilmore
4. Resigning Wilson at a somewhat reasonable number
5. Getting LVE are-signed at a reasonable cost.

Red caution flags out though on all the restructures, specifically Tank and Tyron.

I AM HOPING THAT THEY DONT BACKTRACK AND BACK THE BRINKS TRUCK UP FOR SCHULTZ. That would be monumentally stupid.

Good so far! I would have liked Wagner instead of LVE but if you give me Hankins and TY Hilton on reasonable deals I'm happy overall.

Why are those red flags? Those deals were written to be restructured. This wasn't anything unexpected or surprising.

Agreed.
I would offer Schultz 5 to 8 million on a one year deal.
Period.

It looks as though a real GM is at work now. Shocking! Curious about who's making these moves? It's certainly not Jerry and I have doubts that it's Stephen.

A lot of this is based on the either/or option and what other moves the FO have planned....on the face of it Wagner is better than LVE, however a cheaper LVE and a NT/1-Tech provides improvement by increment.

With the need to improve receiving options, is the best way of achieving that: Schultz + draft WR or vice versa.....only Jerry/Stephen (or more likely McClay) will know based on their boards. I wonder whether we're prepared to ***** the decision until after the draft.

In other words, if they do 1 of 6 things you disagree with...they go from "on a roll" to clown status?

It just takes one or two “oh *****” to cancel out a whole lot of “atta boys”.
