Could you imagine if we had a stout run Defense also. I will say the vikings game was a lot better. I will take that. I am sorry I doubted Quinn when he said the players just need to stick to there assignments. They were trying to do to much. Guess he was right. Today is a big test..

The run defense wasn't any better against the Vikings. They just didn't stick with the run.

Actually what I noticed was not one of those teams won a Lombardi.

True… and it works the other way too: If they can shut down the run, then their opportunities to sack the QB will increase by a good bit.

If teams like Chicago and Green Bay that stuck to the run even when way behind had to pass instead, that number of sacks would be higher.

‘They just need to do the work and stop the run game.

They lost to Green Bay because they gave of 3 receiving TDs to WR Watson who had not done much in prior games.

I think the should have focused more on pass defense in that game even if they gave up 240 yards rushing like they did in the Bears game.

Watson was injured until the Dallas. He was their #2 pick - 6'5 and runs a sub 4.3. We should have put Diggs rather than Bland and double team him.
