He would make it through most likely. I think they are just done with Blue and his bag of nothing. At least for a roster spot.

Carson is still on the roster, but not Steward.

One takeaway from all of the cuts so far is that Schotty is true to his word about competition. We're cutting former draft picks (including very recent picks) because they're not as good as the other guys. I'm impressed.

A lot of this is strategic. Trades are more possible when a teams know they can't claim your player off waivers.
