I’m happy Devin Moore got stashed. Not like they would cut a fourth, but I like him and letting him sit for four games while we see what we have, and can add, at CB makes sense to me

I like this move too. He's just a little green and needs to spend some quality time with CP.

Under league rules, teams can elevate two practice squad players to the game-day roster each week without signing them to the active roster. A player can be elevated three times in a season before the team has to add him outright.

Interesting that Moore was 'hurt'. Would've been fine if he was a cut.

I don't have any qualms with this roster, as is. For the most part, they seemed to keep the better players, regardless of draft position. I don't love Carson, Shelton making the team--but do like to see guys like Speed, Clark, Davis, Wheat making the team based on their performances, not their draft status.

everything was fine til i saw we let julius wood go. over Bell? seriously? bell is that much of a stud at special teams? doubt it.

He is.

Schottenheimer called him “"one of our most trusted leaders on the special teams". They informally call it “the ace” and he’s essentially CJ Goodwin’s backfill who handled that role for the last seven seasons. CJ only played around 6-8 defensive snaps a year for us.

He played 65% of all ST snaps

• Kickoff Return: 81 snaps
• Kickoff Coverage: 77 snaps
• Field Goal Block: 67 snaps
• Punt Return: 40 snaps
• Punt Coverage: 39 snaps

He’s probably one of a very small number that play on all five

He had a groin injury in camp, maybe he aggravated it? Either way sounds like a short-term stash.

Speed had a really strong camp. I am more surprised Carson and Bell are here over Wood.

I'd question CP's judgement if they bring in Adoree Jackson. He was the consistent weak link in the Iggles' secondary last year. He was brought in to start, couldn't get it done, they tried Kelee Ringo, then traded for Jakorian Bennett. They couldn't get it done either.
