Carson over Wood is so stupid. Carson sucks so bad. Nothing has changed.

There are some politics with it all. All teams are hesitant to cut draft picks. Meritocracy be damned when it comes to draft picks for most teams even if you have to be blind to see the opposite.

almost no team is going to cut a fourth round pick four months after the draft

I say almost because the only one I could even find was Vince Mayle, cut by the browns and signed as a FA by the cowboys

There didn't seem to be any interest from the rest of the league during free agency before Sam Williams re-signed with the Dallas Cowboys.

Depending on how they feel about each other, Williams joining the Practice Squad is a possibility.

Williams' contract has $2M in guarantees. $600K signing bonus and $1.4M base salary.
