I think it would enhance watching NFL football on TV if the NFL put bodycams on some players during games.

This was tried by a league, perhaps the European league at some point, I don't remember. I do remember it gave fans a fun perspective.

With the bodycams, fans could see things from the view of a quarterback, receiver, cornerback, etc. It was a lot of fun. If the QB was wearing a cam and he was sacked it was hilarious. You would see the offensive line, a guy coming from a certain direction, sky, and then turf.

I believe we have the technology to use these cams in a way that is not obtrusive to the players. I think the NFL needs to be more innovative when it comes to presenting the games. They have taken so many components of the game out for safety reasons, it's time they put something more in for the fans.

that would be expensive and when you bust up a camera which will happen a lot it would take forever to change them out. but would be killer to watch a game with that.

The USFL put cameras on some players last Spring. Got some pretty cool shots, including the perspective of a guy getting a pick six.

DirectTV, Amazon, and YouTube are listening to find a new way to increase prices.

Watching Dak on TV is bad enough. I don't need a POV experience. It would cause nightmares.

How does that footage get to the viewers?

fun idea. WR releases, OT sets, punter and holder would also be interesting.

I remember one of those other football leagues had a little camera in the QBs helmet that you could see what he saw at the line of scrimmage, it was a really cool perspective.

Short video of what helmet cam shots looked like in the USFL last year.
