Looking at a few players over the years that fell in the draft due to injuries or player conduct, we hoped that they would pan out for us, are we having luck with this? For example La'el Collins he fell in the draft, yes he became a starter, but he fell off. Most recently Damone Clark could have been drafted higher, but suffered a severe injury to his spine. With that said, are we putting too much hope into these slippers that have fell to us, and expecting too much? Clark the jury is still out on

Other noteables Cox, etc if you can name more, please drop the names and your thoughts.

I think the Organization is weakening their draft classes shopping for bargains opposed to just sticking to the board and drafting good healthy, sane football players.

Damone Clark is a 5th round pick, so I do like the value the Cowboys got drafting him. The problem the approach in the 2nd round.

Jaylan Smith comes to mind.
Had a first round grade before his knee injury in college.
We spent a 2 rounder on him.
He showed some flashes but flamed out early.

Romo, Miles Austin, Jay Ratliff…Jason Witten, how he was a third round still blows my mind.
These players didn't have the high grades like the ones i'm thinking of, I see what you mean though
