I spent a few days at my mom's house over the July 4th weekend. She had saved a couple of boxes of "keep-sakes", as she calls them, from my childhood... pictures, yearbooks, letters, awards, and things that I had on my wall. One Cowboys item was in there - a pennant that I had on my wall as a boy. Picture below. I am not 100% sure of the year for the team photo, but here are the names listed:

Row 1: Efren Herrera, Danny White, Roer Staubach, Mel Renfro, Doug Dennison, Aaron Kyle, Preston Pearson, Charles Young, Benny Barnes
Row 2: Scott Laidlaw, Jim Jenson, Charlie Waters, Randy Hughes, Cliff Harris, Robert Newhouse, Mark Washington, D.D. Lewis, Jim Eidson
Row 3: Bob Breuing, Randy White, Lee Roy Jordan, Thomas Henderson, Mike Hegman, Blaine Nye, John Fitzgerald, Larry Cole, Tom Rafferty
Row 4: Burton Lawless, Pat Donovan, Herbert Scott, Rayfield Wright, Ed Jones, Ralph Neely, Jethro Pugh, Bill Gregory, Greg Schaum
Row 5: Harvey Martin, Beasley Reece, Golden Richards, Butch Johnson, Jay Saidi, Drew Pearson, Billy Joe Dupree, Asst. Trainer Ken Locker, Equip Manager Buck Buchanan
Row 6: Tom Landry, Jim Myers, Ernie Stautner, Ermal Allen, Jerry Tubbs, Dan Reeves, Mike Ditka, Gene Stallings, Ed Hughes, Trainer Don Cochren.

Oh how the years have flown by, oh how I realize how much of me is gone. The Oak Ridge Boys' Ozark Mountain Jubilee. Thanks for that nice memory.

Great find! My sister just found a Tony Dorsett autographed poster in my parents garage that I got when I was a kid. Believe it or not, TD was in Dallas modeling Lee jeans and I ran into him with my grandmother at a mall in Dallas. Really cool guy. I was in shock when I met him. Couldn't believe how small he was!

Thanks for sharing.

Well Tom Landry was the Head Coach so that ought to narrow it down for you. :)

Got the same poster autographed in a Joslin's store in Denver. My sister worked there at the time and got it for me. Actually don't know that I ever hung it up or cared much what happened to it. He was in Lee jeans after all. :laugh2:

I'm not that dense!
My parents got it for me in the 1970's, and yes I know the era... I just cant remember off the top of my head if it was 1976, 1977... somewhere in there.

Those were the days. There were a lot of stars on that team. Of course, in those days I thought every Cowboy was a star.
