Cowboys Right Tackles Josh Ball and Jason Peters vs Texans

A good analysis by someone on every play by Ball and Peters vs the Texans. Both Ball and Peters got beat on inside moves by the DE. If Ball cleans up a few technique issues, I think he is going to be pretty decent the rest of the way if given the chance. The team might go with the vets Tyron Smith and Peters. Maybe some combination of the three.

The cupboard is definitely not bare. The Cowboys have numerous options. They could give Ball a chance and see what happens and use Tyron Smith and/or Peters as a backup plan. Or they could just play Tyron Smith at RT. They could even rotate the three.

Aviante Collins looked decent at tackle in the preseason. Farniak is due back soon too.

I would give Ball the opportunity to start. See how it goes. Maybe spell him a few series with Tyron Smith to get Smith back into game shape. If Ball is not up to the task rotate Tyron Smith and Peters at RT.
