As I have reflected on the past few weeks what is becoming more apparent is that all of these teams and others like Denver, San Diego, etc. are all really about equal in terms of talent. One team has a better D, or a better O, but in general terms each week these teams bounce up and down.

I don't know how we break out of this pack but each of these teams have beat each other or played the same teams and the results are never consistent. I am frustrated with this but at least we are in the pack. Does anyone else notice this? Am I wrong?

I totally agree...you can add Carolina in there too. What I really like is that we have a very young Defense and new scheme and we are right in the mix. We will only get better. We have a couple holes to fill, but it's not to many now...that and we are getting depth we have not had in years.

One word....Parity

What is amazing is how easy it seems to be to get in/out of this group. Look at the Titans and Philly which were in the group and many thought would stay there.

Yes, there seems to be about 10-12 teams that are almost the same in terms of talent.
Hopefully our D will separate us.

Yes, an unspectacular brand of Football, IMO. I have hated it for years and now Parity has come home to rost in the NFL, it is even less appealing that I had initially feared. Inferior is all I can say.

umm

some of us might even say parody:eek::)

Parity, paroty, Parrioty, Parody, makes no difference. When it's all said and done, it amounts to pretty much the same thing. Crappy football IMO.

there has been a lot of crappy football, watching the eagles green bay game was awful. watching the seattle-giants game not much better.

At least when i watched dallas -denver i saw two teams play a pretty good ball game, first time this year i really saw a game that felt like playoff game. both teams played good defense but stepped it up when the pressure was on, took advantage of opportunities to score TD's instead of trade fg's.

Lets see if parcells can continue to tweak this team and get us playing our best football in december.

I thought the Giants-Seattle game was fun to watch, especially the end :)
