Cowboys Sign Matthew McCay?

Just learned of this signing. Looks like he has a little Dak in him. Nice player for a WCO backup QB.

I watched the first 5 minutes of that highlight reel. He's got a sub-NFL arm... throws a wobbly ball and his 10 yard passes hang forever.

McKay looks like a good decision maker and has some gamer, but that guy's not a threshold athlete.

He's athletic. We're looking for a backup, not a starter. One of his key traits is not turning over the ball...RPO guy.

Not sure what you were watching. He has more touch than most QB's. He gets enough on the throw but doesn't make it so his guy has no shot at catching it.
