Just learned of this signing. Looks like he has a little Dak in him. Nice player for a WCO backup QB.
I guess that means we have a chance at signing him. If he's cut, or signed, it's kinda the same as being an UDFA, almost, yeah?unless I’ve missed an actual signing he’s only been invited to the rookie minicamp as a tryout.
He's athletic. We're looking for a backup, not a starter. One of his key traits is not turning over the ball...RPO guy.I watched the first 5 minutes of that highlight reel. He's got a sub-NFL arm... throws a wobbly ball and his 10 yard passes hang forever.
McKay looks like a good decision maker and has some gamer, but that guy's not a threshold athlete.
Well now he can learn from the best.I watched the first 5 minutes of that highlight reel. He's got a sub-NFL arm... throws a wobbly ball and his 10 yard passes hang forever.

LOLEh, camp arm. There's no NFL throws in that reel.
Not sure what you were watching. He has more touch than most QB's. He gets enough on the throw but doesn't make it so his guy has no shot at catching it.I watched the first 5 minutes of that highlight reel. He's got a sub-NFL arm... throws a wobbly ball and his 10 yard passes hang forever.

It gets more interesting after the 6 min mark.Well now he can learn from the best.
And his running ability.Nothing in that highlight reel made me think that guy has an arm that could never make it in the NFL, especially as a backup option. It’s no cannon, but that’s not that important in a WCO anyway. His decision making and mobility are gonna be what gives him a shot.
