Not sure who this is, but I like that they are signing a guard.

And Peters coming to town today is a good sign!

Well, it's a good sign unless the Joneses say, "We decided to go a different direction and sign Shepley instead of Peters. We understand that Shepley was the fifth pick in the CFL draft while Peters went undrafted, so we think this is the right move for our team."

May be an indication if we do sign Peters that it will be to the 53 instead of the PS.

Interesting, signed him instead of keeping a couple of UDFA offensive linemen who had semi-positive things said about them during camp, James Empey and Braylon Jones.

He's a little bit of a different profile, a 4 or 5-year vet. Even though he's never really caught on with a team, if injuries happened, he's probably much more likely to be successful in an actual game than either of those rookies (and probably Lindstrom, Alarcón and Collins as well).

I can't understand why they didn't bring Empey back. He looked good out there, I thought.
