Confused me for a minute how they have Tyler Smith as a T.

Good to see Gallup snaps declining
Hendershot getting more snaps than Schoon is interesting.
Luepke 8 snaps were back at FB, right? Or did he ever line up as a RB?

Don’t see that Luepke got any carrys. Must have been decoy or blocking FB.

Some thinge that stand out to me:
  • Pollard with 55 snaps is probably a bit much. Missing Rico and shows how little confidence they have with Hunter Luepke and Deuce Vaughn.
  • Donovan Wilson and Jourdan Lewis played a monster games. Wilson had 11 tackles and a pick. Lewis had 6 tackles and disrupted several plays.
  • Mazi Smith had 16 snaps and did not register a tackle or pressure.

What's interesting is they chose to use Mukwamu on certain downs to cover LaPorta. I noticed it while re-watching some of the game. Im guessing those 3 snaps were 3rd & longs.

Fowler made some plays considering his limited snap count.
His big play/ snap count ratio is pretty crazy.

He's not in the game much, but when he is I feel like he's always making something happen.

He's been a very good signing for the Cowboys for the couple seasons he's been here.

Dallas has got to address the RB position in a real way this offseason. I would love to see them take one anywhere between the 2nd and 4th in the draft.

I think Dono might finally be getting his legs back under him after missing all of training camp and the beginning of the season. He was a total game wrecker last season and I think the last few weeks he is creeping back onto the scene. Lewis is a very solid player for this team as always.

Mazi has still got me worried. I just find it hard to believe he is suddenly going to flip a switch and figure out how to play NFL football, but I won't pass a final judgement until after another season or two.

Tolbert more than Gallup.

Mazi down again. I wonder what the plan is.

Sam more than Fowler on D. Surprises me.

Does anyone know what downs the Cowboys use Mazi Smith on? I am guessing mostly on 1st and 2nd down. Or do the Cowboys use Mazi only on short yardage downs, regardless of if it is 2nd or 3rd down? Or do the Cowboys use him when opposing teams get into the redzone?

McCarthy said the Cowboys ask Mazi Smith to do a lot of the dirty work which usually goes unrecognized.

Lewis also had a pick on the blown up screen!

I saw him and Gallimore playing 1-tech a lot on the early downs or obvious run downs, but I don't know where the definitive numbers on snap counts and downs could be found.
