QB: Will 2023 see a reduction in bad Prescott decisions?

Several of the picks weren’t his fault, but several were made by him attempting throws based on the play-calling choices made on prior downs and others were bad tosses. Entering training camp, the brass needs to know whether the upgrades to the offensive personnel will reduce the number of turnover-worthy throws Prescott makes. The lack of receiver separation and commitment to running on first down led to a 3.8 TWP percentage, a career high.

RB: Who will fill the on and off-field roles formerly held by Ezekiel Elliott?

WR: Is this group as good as the 2019 receiving corps?

TE: Who will emerge as the lead dog at a position with zero veteran leadership?

OT: What's the best configuration and what's the best available configuration?

Tyler Smith has made the Peanut Butter physical leap, as Voch Lombardi eloquently frames it. Tyron Smith took the pay reduction to help out and Terence Steele has steadily improved each season at right tackle. But Steele is recovering from an ACL and could start camp on PUP. The elder Smith is an annual injury concern.

Interior OL: Are there any plus players aside from Zack Martin?

The overall success of the offense is dependent on his performance. This team will go as far as he can lead the offense. The defense is ready. Is #4 ready to lead the team into the super bowl? Hopefully McCarthy will fix the play calling bad choices and can keep Dak out bad situations where he is making forced throws.

QB -most of the bad decisions were a direct result of offensive coaching approach which stated they would be more aggressive in the pass game regardless of game situations. Kellen's gone so we won't have to deal with that anymore.

RB - is the biggest unknown in my eyes but it's all dependent on how the offensive line pans out. If they do well, our committee of running backs should be just fine.

WR - Yes, this is a strong group I'm excited about this unit

TE - I'm anticipating Ferguson to step up in this role.

OT - our starting configuration will be fine it's when we get into all of the alternate configurations due to injury is when the trouble begins.

This fan is set to support no matter what, this season. He'll be fine and so will my Cowboys. I refuse to stoop to being anything but supportive until the playoffs, then upgrade expectations! :starspin:

The offense will be good once again. I think McCarthy/Schottenheimer will do what they can to limit the turnovers. I think the biggest improvement will come from the play callers being better a situational football. No more empty sets inside the 5 yard line. No more slamming Zeke up the gut on first down when the whole stadium knows its coming. Hopefully some creativity in the run game and figure out of to use guys like Turpin and Deuce so we can use their skill set to our advantage.
