What a game that was. We actually won with Torrin Tucker and Rob Petitti as our starting tackles. Watching that game, 2 things really stood out. 1. We sorely miss a guy like Terry Glenn. 2. Say what you want about Bledsoe being a total statute, but when he had time his passes were on the mark in that game.

I loved that flea flicker to Glenn, too.

Bledsoe was a statue, but his arm was big time.

Romo doesn't have near the arm Bledsoe had but he was a sack machine...Dallas needs a big, tall, strong armed QB who can look down the field in the pocket but is mobile enough to get a first down and avoid sacks at times.

Anyone notice Newman play as a WR in that game?

I forgot about that...hmm...it’s an idea...

I watched about 20 minutes of it last night and Tivod the rest.

My early impressions are that it is amazing how fast Larry Johnson fell off the face of the planet, and that watching Bledsoe move around in the pocket is painful. Its as though he has 50lb feet, and he labors to move them.

I don't think our QB needs to make plays with his legs but with his arm.

One thought kept crossing my mind the entire time I was watching it.

This team needs a Terry Glenn.

I was thinking the team looked a lot like they do today, up and down, defense shows flashes, then chokes at the end, but is bailed out by a missed chip shot field goal. The difference then was the team was young, hope was on the rise and I really thought they were going places. 4 years later, my hope has been squashed like a pancake.

The arm strength difference between Romo & Bledsoe is striking, makes me realize that if Romo is going to sit in the pocket and not use his scrambling skills, we've actually gone backwards in this position

Comparing many quarterbacks arms to bledsoe results in a similar way.

Bledsoe's arm was fantastic. I used to watch him flip the ball around in warmups like it was nothing, he could throw the ball like 65 yards.

not many players in this league have arms like that. Probably just a few. The ones who do have an advantage.

Remember the Chiefs trolls who came around?, I guess they are so bad now as to not even bother.

Us and about 28 other teams...

My takes on that game

* Our D was absolutely horrid at times
* Ware looks this year like he did then
* Our OLine was really, really bad
* Henry was picked on all game and burnt often
* Bledsoe was so accurate, and Romo has ditched thoughts of the deep pass since week 1 (with the exception of Phillips INT week 2)
* Barbarian
* KC was loaded with talent
* Wade's Defense looks much better overall with arguably lesser talent
* I don't miss RW31
* Dallas is really missing the shifty, fast Glenn WR
* I don't miss Julius "Piles" Jones
* Beuhler's impact is huge- those line-drive kicks killed our ST
* Missing K. Burnett
* Witten guy may be pretty good

there was more of course but it's nice to see guys like Bradie James have improved so much

I saw Tyson Thompson lined up as a WR once in that game also. What happened to that dude?

Anyway, don't expect Garrett to do something out of the box like line Newman up as a wide-out. Did he have a punt return TD that year too?
