i was wondering, has anyone heard what the line was for the game?
i was looking over on the colts board and read a post saying the cowboys were 2 1/2 points favorite over the colts.

i also read a lot of their post and a lot of them are concerned about romo , that if they cant get pressure on romo that he can do a lot of damage to the colts secondary. but some are saying that our OL is still suspect and that they think the colts can get all kinds of pressure on romo. personally i think our OL has played much better the last 3 games and if the panthers could'nt get pressure on romo , i dont think the colts can, but freeny is good however i believe he just got his 1st sack of the year yesterday . some also said it would be high scoring affair. it was intersesting anyway. go cowboys

well, evidently they think the cowboys match up well with the colts...

Not really, home team gets 3 points automatically. This means that the Colts are favored by 4 on a neutral field.

But they are playing on a hostile field, and the 3 points disappear

Vegas is BEGGING people to take the Colts with that line. That spells very good things for the Cowboys. Vegas knows way more than any of the talking heads.

Vegas doesn't care about who wins or loses the game its about the spread.

I realize that, but what Vegas IS about is making money. And if a football fan sees the Colts against a 5-4 team with basically a pick 'em spread, who ISN'T taking Indy? They don't even have to cover... just basically win. When Vegas makes a seemingly totally obvious line like that, something is up. Beware of the blatantly obvious pick (the Colts).

Statistically (yards per game), the Cowboys represent both the best offense and the best defense the Colts have faced yet this season. Factor in Romo's first home start, the Colts didn't look that good last week, and they just became the first team to ever start 9-0 two years in a row, so a lot of people think they're probably due for a loss.
