The TRUTH hurts but if man-up enough you accept it and get stronger.
Interesting take about Sean Payton and landing in D.C.

It's an excellent point about McCarthy. He was the Head Coach of a team that won 4 out of 5 games with a practice squad QB including beating the Superbowl bound Bengals. The loss came again the Superbowl bound Eagles with their starting QB.

He deserves respect for that. He didn't hand out the backbreaking contract to Prescott plus he had the players ready and prepared for the play offs.

MM isn’t the problem. But he also isn’t the solution. He does nothing to get more out of Dak. Somebody has to go, either the guys running the offensive scheme or the qb.

It's the Jones'
Dak's contract, Zeke's contract, Gallup's contract. I'll predict that they will sign Pollard to lucrative contract without knowing how he can contribute in 2023.

Before they gave Zeke that contract, it seemed the Jones were getting better at not giving out wild contracts. They did not pay Demarco after having a historic season in 2014. All of a sudden they just simply fell in love with the players in 2016 and they went back to doing the same business that got them in trouble before. The Jones are clowns and they view the fanbase as clowns as well. Truly I think they know that these contracts were mistakes. The admittance from them is what you will not see.

Wasn’t the Cousins contract near the top of the market when he got it? All teams either have to pay a QB or keep rotating in QBs on rookie deals like a college program.

They pay these guys like Superstars so they can market these guys as superstars.

Look at this forum. Until recently, people really thought Zeke was a superstar. He hasn’t been a star player in three years. But Cowboys need to sell merchandise more than prioritize winning.

This Cowturd is a troll.

Jerry and Stephen tagged Dak TWICE before Dak switched agents to the most greedy agent in the league, thus ending in the way overpaid $40 mil/year contract we have to deal with today. Why didn't Jerry and Stephen agree to pay Dak $28 mil/season or less before when he still had his original agent? This Cowturd is barking at the wrong person(s) responsible for this mess.

Mahomes is 45 million a year, Cousins is 35 million a year. Dak is 40 million, what does 5 million extra buy you over Cousins?

Maybe Malik Hooker or Jourdon Lewis?

You're not wrong, but there are a lot of unknowns about the franchise tag years, and I remember a lot of conflicting reports about Daks ask, and what the Cowboys were actually willing to do. My assumption is the Cowboys were truly undecided prior to Dak playing out of his mind that 2020 season prior to injury, but who knows for sure. Even if $28m was the number Dak was looking for that was still top QB money at the time and length/structure is probably a bigger factor.

McCarthy is NOT the problem - but I DO wish he would’ve truly been able to pick someone to run the WCO vs. being handed KM and having to accept it.

Our chance with Dak and Zeke (if we ever had one) was 2016. Teams hadn’t figured Dak out yet and Zeke was hungry.

2018, 2021 and this season never felt like we good enough on offense.
