I typically don't agree with Cowherd, but in this case there is a lot of justification from general mgmt principles that they have opened themselves up to this risk.

The signs have been there for years, but we have exposed ourselves to this very moment by ignoring good fundamental practice.

When signs of risk...frequent and repetitive injury., rears its head how much are you willing to risk of the current year and your investment in said year?

If you are the perennial bottom dwellers then maybe you just roll with it. If you are the premier franchise in the league by value and media attention maybe you don't care because your focus, energy and interests are spread around.

But if winning the SuperBowl is all you care about it, then your business practices and culture should reflect what your goals are.

“This organization needs a fresh set of eyes from someone outside the Jones family”…. Said every Cowboys fan since 1997

Colin isn’t wrong. This is just low hanging fruit and it’s not like the Jones Boys are changing anytime soon… soooo, yah, 7-10/8-9 here we come

Throw Farniok in at guard or tackle on the left side. I like what that kid brings to the table.

That is very accurate piece by cowherd as much as I wish it wasn't but he is spot on in everything he is saying.

Jerry just has so much money that he is insulated from anything that could be perceived as wrong .He does no wrong in his mind and no one who values their future around him is going to tell him he does any wrong so as fans we will continue to suffer because he is blind to how dated his tactics and team building really is.

We haven't played one down of real football yet and everyone is ready to punt the season. Let one of these young kids move to LT and give him some help and game plan accordingly. Tyron wasn't going to play every game regardless.

Teams have significant injuries all the time and find a way to play through these shortcomings.

No surprise you love Cowturd.

I enjoy Cowherd's show, even though I don't always agree with him. I also love Michael Irvin's rah-rah routine, and I don't always agree with him.

Listening to diverse opinions is a great way to learn things. Wanting to live in an echo chamber, where people only agree with you, seems boring.

Those talking heads like Cowturd are only after ratings. They’ll say anything for ratings. Talking crap about the Cowboys increases their ratings. Anyone who watch’s that for a different opinion is “getting sucked” as the great Parcells use to say.

For some reason, Dallas has historically played poorly when a starter is out due to injuries. It doesn’t make sense, but Dallas struggles more than most teams when it comes to maintaining the same level of play as they were at pre-injury.

This is good though because it is a media person, saying jerry needs to hire a real gm.
This is what needs to happen and then jerry would either do it or not be so public.
He actually said he is like old al davis now , with the raider comment.

We all know this, but it needs to be said by more media people.

I highly doubt you ever watch him, because the moment anyone says something negative about the Cowboys you start breaking things. Being unable to tolerate different opinions is not the badge of honor you have made it out to be in your own mind. It's actually kind of the opposite.

He wasn't negative about the Cowboys last year when they were winning, because they were winning. He talks about the most popular teams in all sports because using a national program to talk about the Jacksonville Jaguars and Pittsburgh Pirates wouldn't draw ratings and sponsors.

He’s a talking head who will say anything, right or wrong, for ratings. Total waste of time watching them. I guess you like SAS also. Go figure.

At least offensively. Dlaw and Gally missed 10 games last year and it was like they were never missed.
