Crysis 2: Anyone Played It?

They should have just titled this game "Camping In Corners While Cloaked".

Pretty much all I have seen so far. Granted, I've only played a couple of games but that also seems to be the prevailing complaint.

Invisibility is too good and people basically squat and wait.

played some of the MP demo on ps3 last week (yeah yeah inb4consolefps etc etc) and I hated it. Didn't seem very smooth at all. Will be sticking with killzone and battlefield.

Been playing since Tuesday. Best Single Player FPS campaign I've ever played, and I've played them all. Haven't gotten online yet though.

Then I recommend that you stay offline.

The P2P hosting system is atrocious.

Was just in a game where every player except the host was solid red.

Them I got host and absolutely ran over the other team.

Host advantage shouldn't account for so much.

I think I went like 9-9 without it, 28-7 with it.

Another absolute online dud at this point.

Looks great but nearly unplayable. Homefront online was bad but this game is worse.

If the MP is worse than Homefront I'm so so so glad I didn't even bother. Not that I really would have with it being more of a futuristic alien type thing but none the less still quite glad I didn't bother.

Homefront is absolute garbage online.

Yeah, I'm hearing horror stories like this all over the place and apparently it just gets worse the more you play. It's a shame because I doubt they'll do anything about it. MP could have been epic. Oh well, the campaign is incredible though.

I'm downloading it through Steam as I type this, exciting!

I think I'll be sticking to single player. All my online FPS time is sunk into Left 4 Dead 2 Versus, lol.

The only other game that I feel impacted me the same way was HL2. It really is THAT good. If it weren't for some small AI issues, it would be amazingly perfect.
