I will believe there has been a culture change once we hoist another Lombardi. Until then its just talk.
*** does that even mean? If we win a sb that confirms they're has been a culture change? Smh

"You can't tell much from preseason videos. Blah blah blah."

That's right. You can't tell a whole lot. But you can glean a little bit from them. Just like highlight videos: they don't tell the whole story. But they do give you some hints about potential.

That's all this thread is, before you go bellyaching about some Negative Nancy nonsense.

In the famous words of Rick James, "that was two weeks ago. I"m partying now."

At a glimpse, Dak Prescott does look improved, more relaxed, like he's more confident that he'll able to scan the field and have more confidence in his options. Brandin Cooks really helps this offense. Gallup having a year under his belt after his injury really helps this offense. I think a few other additions will also really help this offense.

Last year, I kept repeating that the team should play Joseph in the nickel or at safety. He reminds me a little bit of Orlando Scandrick, at nickel, and a little bit like Keith Davis at safety, but with a little more athleticism, quickness and pop to his game. I'm very happy to see them working him at other positions. With all the stuff in the offseason last year, this should be a fresh start for Joseph.I hope he's able to make the team, and make the best of it.

That said, I like the vast majority of players on this roster.

Does anyone notice anything different this year? There's not nearly as much negative publicity over players like. Antonio Calloway was arrested in the offseason, but he was cut, likely to send a message. There's just no more perpetual negative press about this player or that player. Instead, the Eagles picked up the problem-child in the draft. So, we'll see how that goes for them this year.

That said, I look around at this year's camp, at least in a few videos and I see almost all of these players want to be there. And their all attentive, positive, and seem to be bonding and helping each other. It's the little things that make a championship team. It comes down to details, chemistry, integrity, trust, all of that. But that's what I see with this team at a glimpse.

I would be thrilled if we win a championship. But even if we were to go 0-17 somehow I'm still going to enjoy the heck out of this season, knowing this is one of the best teams ever assembled by the Cowboys. Just look at that defense come onto the field. It's a scary offense now with Cooks, Gallup, and Pollard starting. It'll be an ever scarier defense compared to last year's, too, which is saying a lot.

Couldn’t agree more about Joseph. As that Jax game last year showed he’s miscast as a DB alone on an island . Nickel Dime back yes and try him at safety especially with Wilson down .

It's on top of a helmet. You know what helmets do, right?
Yet how many players still miss games due to concussions. Oh boo hoo, the helmets look stupider. Anything they can do to promote less injuries and make the games better because players are out less is worth it.

That was fun to watch! I am so excited that Dallas Cowboys football is back

Once again I will look forward to Sundays all week. After a hot Texas summer that first hint of fall air, combined with football is absolute nostalgic like euphoria for me. It's rather pathetic, but I don't care.

Scandrick was good until he got paid. Then he sucked lol

When he played with the late round pick, tough guy angle it worked. Got paid and it changed
He was never good we just could never replace him. We somehow would bring in worse players. Shoot we moved up for claiborne to replace him lol

In 2013, he passed Morris Claiborne on the depth chart and became the starter at right cornerback after the third game of the season. On December 13, he signed an additional two-year contract extension.

Yea good times.
