Strength of schedule is the first tie breaker for teams with the same record. This of course does not yet factor in the playoffs or the Super Bowl. Non playoff teams do pick before playoff teams regardless of Strength of Schedule. Super Bowl winner picks 32 and runner up picks 31.

This is just the current order based on record and strength of schedule. The next tie breaker is Division or Conference records. A coin flip is the last tie breaker. None exist as of right now.

If anyone has a different order please let me know. Math errors can happen.

1. Rams (1-13)

2. Lions (2-12) .513
3. Buccaneers (2-12) .558

4. Browns (3-11) .509
5. Chiefs (3-11) .527

6. Commanders (4-10)

7. Seahawks (5-9) .469
8. Bears (5-9) .487, Broncos own this pick
9. Bills (5-9) .513
10. Raiders (5-9) .518

11. 49ers (6-8) .487
12. Panthers (6-8) .549, 49ers own this pick

13. Steelers (7-7) .482
14. Jaguars (7-7) .496
15. Falcons (7-7) .500
16. Texans (7-7) .531, 4-6 vs. AFC
17. Jets (7-7) .531, 5-5 vs. AFC
18. Titans (7-7) .549, 4-7 vs. AFC
19. Dolphins (7-7) .549, 5-5 vs. AFC

I know it's different criteria used but I love how Green Bay has the tiebreaker on us as far as playoffs (and they obviously should) but they'd get to draft ahead of us. That doesn't seem fair.

If I am not mistaken, the last four teams will be based on who is in the Conferences Championship games despite the records. So the Cowboys could have a worse record than other teams in the playoffs but will be picking 29-32 if they make it to the NFC championship game.

Usually it's just the 2 Superbowl teams.

There has been some talk that all of the playoff teams would go to that format. Meaning an AFC wildcard team with an 8-8 record would draft AFTER a NFC team at 9-7 that missed the playoffs.

I wouldn't cry. Not even when the trap door on the gallows opened and I danced the dead man's jig.

It's all still the gallows to me. There's an Arizona Historian from the Old West named Wil Barnes. He wrote a poem about the Dead Man's Jig. I have it somewhere. Really made an impression upon me.

No after the Eagles picked before the Vikings, they changed it or so I believe they did so picks 21-32 are based on how far you advance.

thanks for clearing that up. I thoght the owners agreed on the last four teams. I know there was talk but was not sure if it was confirmed or not. And yes it looks like McClain who I would love to have also is way out of reach barring any major trade. He would be my number one choice also.
