This draft is so deep that the only thing that makes sense is to cut Zeke and let Pollard walk and draft at least 2 backs. It is so deep that I expect that Robinson and Gibbs will fall down the board and at least Gibbs will be available at 26 and how do you pass on a guy that is that talented?

Give me at least 2 of the guys listed below. I'm ok with Gibbs at 26 or Charbonnet at 58 and then give me one of Bigsby, Spears, McIntosh, or Abanikanda. McClay and the scouts have got to be pounding the table to take advantage of what the draft is giving them.

1. Bijan Robinson Texas
2. Jahmyr Gibbs Alabama
3. Devon Achane Texas A&M
4, Zach Charbonnet UCLA
5. Zach Evans Mississippi
6. Tank Bigsby Auburn
7. Roschon Johnson Texas
8. Kenny McIntosh Georgia
9. Tyjae Spears Tulane
10. Israel Abanikanda Pittsburg
11. DeWayne McBride UAB
12, Kendre Miller TCU
13. Eric Gray Oklahoma
14. Sean Tucker Illinois

100% agree. I’d probably be more keen to tagging Pollard but he’s fresh off injury.

Save the money…go sign someone like Damien Harris and draft a pair of RBs.

SPEND ON ANOTHER POSITION. With that 20 mil or whatever saved you could probably sign Harris, Dalton Tomlinson (DT) and a mid level starting CB.

BINGO. I don’t think the team will go this route, but they could use the money elsewhere. Revisit the trade market for a WR like Cooks. These are not WOW moves. Tomlinson and Cooks make us better in places that we we need to get better.

I completely agree with you it’s about to come out and giving RB Second contracts. And I may add the Pollard doesn’t deserve this but I’m through with paying merit. It’s about The team

This. Malik is a player. And it’s a very deep draft class. But our front office isn’t smart enough to do it.
I don't know, but it seems like they could use the money to sign a receiver and make an effort to sign Payne and take advantage of this draft to get two talented rookie backs.

this is a deep RB draft.no need to franchise Pollard when he had such a serious injury.just let go of both of them and draft 2 Backs.

Seems like it ........ unfortunately ....... we both know who will be making that decision.
I'm sure that McClay is banging the table about the running backs in the draft. I have a feeling that McClay will tell them to try and sign Chark at receiver and draft some backs. The Cowboys were interested in drafting Chark when he came out of LSU.

This team doesn’t draft badly. But we lack creativity. Some times you have to be bold. The bold move would be to let Pollard walk and trust that you can find someone in the draft. Use the savings to get players in FA that can help this team.

The guys are for sure there in the draft. Letting him walk does make sense. For sure they shouldn't tag him. They can offer him less money or let him walk.

They just have to take advantage of this draft. The backs are there. Draft 2 of them.

I’m with you. But I’d be floored if Jerry didn’t franchise Pollard. With that said, I would just release Zeke. Put together a nice warm fuzzy press release thanking him for his great service to the team and move on. We don’t owe him a thing.

To me it makes sense to let Pollard walk because you save money and can draft 2 backs and you get a draft pick back next year.

Yea, I mean we don’t even have to make a WOW move. Just make smart football decisions and actually spend a little.

You want to rely on round 1 to get a RB? I'd rather draft someone like Siaki Ika in the first, if he's there.

Then you have your massive DT everyone wants, and you have him on a rookie, first-round deal.

To me, that makes the most financial sense. Cut Zeke, and resign Pollard. Then draft a back in round 3-4....

Tucker went to Syracuse. He's a top 8-10 back for me.
