Ware logged 117 of his 138.5 career sacks with the Cowboys. He only tallied a total of 21.5 with the Broncos. That’s nearly 85 percent of his output in Dallas.

All of Ware’s All-Pro seasons came with the Cowboys and seven of his best eight seasons (measured in sacks) came in Dallas. As if that wasn’t enough, 100 percent of Ware’s touchdowns occurred with the Cowboys (two in 2006 and one in 2010).

Interesting topic. So many way to debate it. Quoted above plus the Cowboys drafted Ware put him as a Cowboy.

Years from now when the talk of Ware comes up, you will hear "ex-Cowboys play Demarcus Ware" not "ex-Broncos player."

Ware signed a one day contract to retire a cowboy. I think that says it all from his viewpoint.

He's a Dallas Cowboy. I am sure he has great memories of his time as a Bronco because he won a championship. Too bad he couldn't do it here.

However, he wasn't used right until he became a Bronco.

When he sang the national anthem one of the comments said even when the Cowboys aren't playing they still lose. So I think it's safe to say he's viewed as a Cowboy.
