Were you born at Riverside Hospital?

That I'm not sure of. I was born in 1942, so if it was there then, maybe so. Granny and Grandpop lived on 39th street a stone's throw from the shipyard where Grandpop worked as a riveter. Daddy (a Texas Aggie) was ordered to leave for Europe and had to do some training at Ft. Belviour (sp??). So he took Mom and my brother (close to a year old) up there and left them w/ her family to be with when I was born in October. After about a year, she came back to the house here in Beaumont...

Did you see the guy in the Romo jersey there?

I think I did...there were about 500 Cowboys fans there for the signing. I saw a lot of Romo, J. Jones and Ware jerseys with a few Roy Williams and Aikman and Smith jersey mixed in. It was a great turnout. The guy at the store told me that this was the second time they had Ware and that both had been very successful. He hoped to have another Cowboy there soon. I requested Rayfield Wright. He told me if they could get him, they would try. I would love to meet him and get his autograph.

I was also at the DWare Signing in newport news, VA.

I went the day before to get a ticket and the owner of the store said that he talked to Romo's agent but Romo wants too much money. He spoke directly to Marion Barber about coming down.

He told me right now he is trying to get Marion Barber, Jason Witten, Roy Williams and he said he is trying to get in contact with agents for TO, and Terrance Newman.

So anyone who lives in the area stay tuned to 1310.
