Says that he finds Davis and step-brother Lang credible, but can't prosecute...presumably because the statute ran out.

Says that the 3rd accuser, Tomaselli, allegation does not 'add up.' Sounds like they got ahold of his school records and he was in attendance on the day after the Pittsburgh game when he would have been traveling back. Said that Tomaselli was nervous when they told him that they were going to check his school attendance records.

Said that the 4th accuser wasn't credible and is a lifelong criminal.

I think we now need to know if Fine molested Davis and Lang as underrage boys or made advances to them as legal age adults.

Tomaselli criticizes DA Fitzpatrick.

Sounds really fishy at best.

1. He's a self confessed child molestor.

2. One of his theories is that his dad somehow got the high school to change his records.

3. He claims he went to the Pittsburgh game on a bus. Then when it was found that the team traveled there by plane from Tennessee, he claims that the bus trip was with SU support staff (which I have some questions about) and no players.

4. Claims that Fitzpatrick made the press conference to support his friend, Bernie Fine...the same guy that in the same press conference said that he found that Davis and Lang were credible in their accusations of child molestation by Fine.

My questions on #3 is this.

Why would the SU support staff take a bus from Syracuse to Pittsburgh. Wouldn't they have gone to Tennessee with the team as well for that game?

Well...the NY State law kinda contradicts itself.

I believe that in NY State, once a person turns 21, they cannot have sexual relations with anybody under the age of 18.

But I believe in cases of child molestation, the victim can be 18 years old or younger.

Let's say that Bernie Fine made advances towards Davis at the age of 18 and Laurie Fine had sexual intercourse with Davis at the age of 18. Sounds like Bernie would be considered a 'child molestor' and Laurie would have been perfectly legal to have intercourse.

The questions that it brings up for me are:

1. Why didn't Davis give the tape to the police or the University? At the very least, there was a decent chance the University would have fired Fine over the tape.

2. If Fine was allegedly molesting children, why haven't any other victims come forward since child abusers with access to children like Fine had are usually repeat offenders?

3. If Tomaselli did talk to Davis before going to the police as Tomaselli claims? What did they talk about?

It sounds to me that it was a horrible swingers club gone awry.

Sounds to me like ESPN lies as much as it possibly one company can lie.

I just watched the DA's press conference. Then I watched ESPN stooge Roger Cossack come up with a completely different review of the press conference to tow the company line and to protect ESPN. And I just saw ESPN conveniently ignore Fitzpatrick's outrage towards ESPN for not turning over the tape to the police and his office.

If these victim's advocacy groups want to make a real change, they can start by calling out for the jobs of those at ESPN (and the Post-Standard) who never turned the tape in and now arrogantly proclaim 'its not their job' to turn in evidence to the police. Go after ESPN and the Post-Standard and the next time they have evidence, they'll think twice about not turning it into the authorities.

It's like Fitzpatrick said, ESPN and the P-S are acting like they did nothing wrong over 9 years. Whereas Boeheim does one thing wrong and apologizes for it within a week. I don't see any apology from ESPN and P-S. If anything, I see ESPN trying to act like it never happened. That doesn't solve any of the issues with regards to child molestation victims not coming forward.
