Well, that matches what I saw. He struggled against any team with a semblance of defense. We played a LOT of cupcakes and he took full advantage.
When the schedule came out last April, there were the usual comments about how the Cowboys had such a tough schedule blah blah blah. Well it turned out they didn't. Just a small handful of hard games and many of those cupcakes. We all saw exactly what you did. Now that we are entering the tournament, we can hope the Cowboys and Dak can navigate their way through those tougher defenses. Or it will end up being another season ending in disappointment.

The schedule was deceiving as the NFC East took a big step backward. NY made the playoffs last year and it was assumed they would improve. Washington was returning a stout defense. Both of them completely imploded. Add NE, Buffalo , Miami, and SF…….. yeah tough schedule preseason on paper.

You Romo-loving Dak haters are back to your usual BS shenanigans, huh? It's too much to put your brain to use and realize Dak dissected many opposing defenses, even after opposing coaches afterwards admit Dak figured them out?

Y'all are the worst. Do everyone a favor. Go follow another team since Dak is not going anywhere.

What tougher defenses? The Packers are ranked 28th in defensive DVOA...which is worse than the Eagles who are 27th. The Rams couldn't stop a parked car the last time they played the Cowboys. The Eagles got sandblasted. Detroit should've lost by double-digits.

The only defense that Dallas needs to be concerned about is San Francisco. Full...stop.

And I thought I was the only one who felt this way.

You have to play the hand you are dealt.

During the 49ers 80s dynasty they had a weak division with only 4 teams and two were bad all the time and the Rams were only good briefly. They got a free division title and 6 wins pretty much every year. Their SB wins still count, though.

I love BS stats like these and the “haven’t beat a winning team” argument.

We played Washington, NY, and PHI twice each. Doubt any division had worse pass defenses. However, you play who you play. There are some QBs low on that list that still stunk it up.

Doesn’t at all take away from what he accomplished.

When Dak has good PFF numbers: they are a sham, stats mean nothing, this is not what we are seeing!

When PFF numbers throw shade on Dak: This is what we are seeing! He can only beat bad teams!

Everything being said here falls under the "no kidding" category. Good teams and good QB's beat the bad teams. That's how you figure out who is who.

The only cause for concern here would be if Dak had so-so numbers or worse against these bad defenses. That would be a sign that he is the quarterback his haters want so desperately for him to be. The moment Dak has an MVP caliber season now we get bombarded with all the excuses with why it shouldn't have happened.

Dak Prescott just had an incredible season. It happened. Deal with it. The quarterback of the team you are a fan of had an excellent year and some just can't be happy about it.
