As we all know, expectations set what is considered good versus what is not. Dak's rookie season has set him in a place where our exceptions are so high that anything closer to the mean for year two of a franchise QB is considered 'not good'.

His rookie season has set himself up for 'failure' when had he had an average season last year, he'd be looked at in a more favorable light right now through his little struggles he is in.

Here is the reality of Dak's current season:
3rd in QBR 66.0

His 60.8% is better than Wentz, Mariota, Palmer and Bortles.
His 8 total TDs ranks 3rd(Tied)
His 3 ints on the year tie him with ARod, Winston and several others and below Rivers and Cam.
His 6.6 Yards per Attempt is better than Stafford.

We've played the #1, #8, #25 and #26 total defensive leaders. Despite being 14th in the league in rushing, Dallas in 11th in scoring and 12th in total yards. Cowboys currently are 8th in OL efficiency. Which, by the way, is one spot HIGHER than last season(9th).

The sky is not falling. Dak is having a good year if you don't hold him to the ridiculous standard of 2016.
