I would surmise each player selected by the 32 NFL teams for their candidate for the Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year Award is a truly worthy receipent.
While a vast majority of fans will tout and support their favorite team's candidate for the honor, it is a selected group of people involved with the sport - past and present - who determine the individual worthy to get bestowed with that prestigious award.
Since the announcement earlier today, each team's nominee will wear a helmet patch replica of the trophy for the remainder of the 2022 season.
