Last chance, 98 yards to go against the worst team in the league... That's plenty to lose, including the game.

Defenses blowing leads against desperate, 2 minute offenses seems to happen every week in this league though.

Dak plays better when they roll him out

pocket Dak is 50/50

im just happy pocket Dak led a 98 yard drive but the rest of the game he was awful pocket wise

Does anyone see that? When he thinks too much, he seems to make more mistakes.

Think of all the offsides freeplays.. always on target
98 yards, nothing to lose. On target.
Big lead, on target

Do you guys see the same thing?

Dak plays better against prevent defense. Yes, you are correct.

What I meant is that he has no choice but to pass and almost doesn't have to worry about an interception, because there's no other chance. In other scenarios he thinks there's time to make that up, but not now.

You are exactly correct. If we had jumped out to a comfortable lead, I have little doubt that he would have played much better. He does not do well when he feels the pressure.

When he is backed into a corner & has no choice he stops over thinking it and just plays. Anywhere between being a front runner and backed into a corner and he's going to erratic.

Yes. With tempo in general as well. When ever he saunters up to the line or walks away and comes back it seems like it's a disaster waiting to happen. when it's bang/bang/bang the opposite.

NO he pays better when his OL blocks better, his OC calls a better series, his Wrs catch tds and first downs , his defense makes stops against a no name offense. how about Turpin not fumbling a punt, was that Dak? ?

do we forget to TWO(2) dropped Tds both hit them in the hands in the number ie Perfect passes, Washington should have caught that first down as well. do we forget the other payers who made HUGE mistakes? one INT was tipped in the air by Brown and the other Dak was hit in the arm on the follow through etc

its team game what obvious is when they all do their job, they can execute , if not, you struggle.

lets say it was poor TEAM showing and stop trying to dump on Dak.. No he didn't pay well the middle part of that game nor did his teammates. but the first drives and last drives by the 3 phases all showed up and we won.

Typically this is true for Dak, he chokes against better defenses and when it's "money" time. Yesterday though his passes were inaccurate from the beginning and only got better for the game winning drive. It helped that the Houston defense is craptastic.

He wasn't making great reads yesterday. Didn't help that our receivers were dropping balls.

What Dak did on that final drive is what Moore and him should have been doing all day. Take what the defense gives you. Nothing wrong with Schultz for 6, Lamb for 5. That D is predicated on stopping the deep stuff. It was a thing of beauty and ate the clock.

I kind of agree. with that said, yesterday it was the first time he had that energy stepping in for that last drive. like he did his first two years. his eyes were bright, his demeanor was different. and everyone seemed to rally around it like he did his first couple of years....dare I say he seemed to find his mojo and not fold in that situation like he did the past couple of years and play scared or unsure of himself.

He was playing badly to start the game.
They were heavily favored.
He should have been relaxed.

Dak plays better when there is a run option in his game.

don’t need to use it now in meaningless games but if we want to win in the playoffs need to bring the running game out in dak.

Right. He played very poorly overall- but he still QB'd the team to perfection 98 yards against an NFL Defense to save his team from embarrassment...

But not doubt.
