I’m really surprised the run game, is as bad as it is. Dak is elite. I wasn’t sure about him at first, but he’s one of the best. Hopefully, the curse is lifted. If so, it would help. Cowboys baby!

All with NO run game to speak of, and his tackles absolutely whiffing.
100% truth.

McCarthy needs to stop wasting plays trying to force the run. If the run is not there early in the game, force the pass and allow the pass to help open up the run. It was frustrating to see so many wasted 1st or 2nd and 10s forced on runs for no gain (or a loss) to then end up with 3rd and longs.

Mike Solari needs to go. He has shown he is incapable of shaping this Oline into a formidable run Oline. No push whatsoever at the line of scrimmage. It reeks of lack of hard physical training on a weighted down 5 or 7 man sled. No staying low, firing out and driving at the snap of the ball either. No quickness or nimbleness on their feet (toes). Everything is on their heels. Not good.

Man I was yelling at the TV to stop running in the 4th. Then of course Pollard rattled off a couple decent runs.

Bad thing is when we go up against these cover 2 shell defenses we almost have to run to beat them.

We did play 3 really good run defenses back to back. I hope it opens up for the playoffs.

Yeah this oline coach is a joke. They've regressed.

Where Daks worse Daks or inability to evade one lineman? Oh that Durant exist bc we are pro guy that can barely score 20pts against one of the worst defenses

I had seen enough good from him to believe he was more than capable, BUT I wanted to see him prove it without KM. This season has shown a ton about our qb and how bad KM was for offensive consistency in particular. Of course nay sayers will point to the playoffs as the ultimate proving ground, and they aren't wrong. Where they are off is that Dak hasn't been bad as a whole. The niners games have hurt him. He was phenomenal against Tampa, and great against Seattle. Gb was a mixed bag, but he did end the game strongly. We need to find answers for the niners though, because they could very well be his legacy.

Surprisingly I thought our run game would improve this year, but I think that's more about oline regression and TPs recovery. KM has destroyed what was left of Eckler. He may have been on his way out already, but was phenomenal last season.

He only missed a couple. The deep one to Cooks early was the big one. They need to figure out how to connect on those.

The WCO has worked wonders for his accuracy.
Agreed. Dak needs to put a little more air underneath those deep shots to Cooks since Cooks is so short and covered by much taller DBs. Having more arch on those deep those would definitely help connect deep to Cooks.
