Dak seems to be at his best for a run

We just need Defense to get their stuff back together. Scoring 30+ a game is enough for any offense. Defense has to make some stops. Really baffling how we went from maybe best in league to can’t stop any plays.

Something came off the rails and needs adjustment quickly.

Parsons needs to play more LB instead of DE so he can rush from different areas along the line and provide help against the run.

The Brown loss has been surprisingly (to me) costly.
Never understood the hate for Brown. He plays as well as any average starting #2 CB. He’s a solid vet starter that allows you to play defense without any limitations.

Sure he gets beat from time to time but everyone does. Especially with the targets he gets opposite Diggs, he was fine.

We are not going to be able to stop anyone if our CB's keep playing 12yds off the ball.

We're not going to be able to stop anyone if our DT's keep getting pushed backwards, while our DE's rush up field.

P.S. -We still need some real speed at free safety, IMO. Single high man coverage works a whole heck of a lot better when you have speed at free safety. Someone to get to those deep throws when the cornerback has been burnt.

I agree. Remember in the off season when everyone was clamoring for Parsons to play exclusively at DE? I knew that was a bad idea. Parsons is the classic quick twitch athlete. Explosive and fast but you can't maintain that all season fighting through 320 o linemen and chasing down back side running plays. The offseason we need to focus on Parsons being the complete LB. We have good DE that can play and rotate. Granted, he may still get mauled at LB with the play of our DTs. But I gotta believe we would be 1st in line to sign Suh and other "proven" run stoppers in free agency. Clark should be great improvement next season. However, can we rely on 2 LB with spinal issues?

When Jerry only makes moves to enhance his offense and leaves defense with backups, you get where it takes some luck and or perfect offensive play to win games. Not sure any team won Superbowls allowing 30 points against good teams?

Wright looks like the best option at outside with bland playing the slot

at least Wright can tackle and is physical

that would be my vote
