So saw the stats, Dak had more rushing yards than the running back. Cause for concern?

Yes it is a concern but not of Tony but one of the offensive line. Look you can't run if you ain't got no blocking. People bag on Deuce Vaughn too. This line is the problem. Starts and stops with the big uglies up front and that line coach Solari. Daks rushing stats vs the rb's is a indicator of the problem. Fix this line and the running game takes off.

Okay fellas, is this now a Pollard is a bust thread?

What is the most important aspect for a running back to have a terrific and consistent yards per rush?

Hmmmm, I'll take offensive linemen winning their individual battles for five-hundred, Alex.

However, Pollard is not a featured back. He is the sidekick. The Robin to a featured back.

Doesn't matter if we had CMC or Emmit Smith in the back field. The OL blocking has been suspect the last several weeks and the run scheme is from HS play books.

No on would succeed in that play calling

The entire offense reeks. Why is this a shock? I’m more surprised at the fact that Dak ran. We won’t be seeing that again for a while.

I didn't want them to franchise him either, but it's better than giving him a multi year contract. Use him as much as you can this season and move on
I think it was one of those classic Jerry situations where he bids against himself. Nobody hands out money to injured players like jerrah

It might help if 95% of our runs are straight up the middle, starting to feel like JG calling plays out there.

Not the OL.

It’s the freak injury.

Tony has lost some of his speed.

OL has struggled. I think those injuries to Martin and Biadasz are still holding them back some.

Pollard even got ran down on a pass play that he likely would’ve scored on last season. Appears he’s lost a step. I posted many times during the offseason that I didn’t think he would be as good with more caries as a starter.

Yeah baby. 7 rushes for 40 yards. Why did we franchise Pollard again ?
.....apparently, he is the RB now that is expected to get tough yards with no blocking or have defenders waiting for him in the backfield too.

This is just a thread on why you never draft RB high or pay them. Wouldn't have mattered who was in the backfield yesterday.
