Look at these guys now days, the LBS can run very fast 40's, you even have DL guys running real quick 40 times, yet you have Dak who runs as if he's running in sand. If Dak could take off quicker this would help this team out. I'm not saying he needs to be blazing quick, but some foot quickness would help us in a big way

I just dont think he has the legs to do it consistently anymore. However, you're right the mobile QB adds 1 extra dimension for defenses to account for which opens things up especially in the middle of the field.

Dak can run but he is unwilling to.
^ This. Actually, it is not running but his resistance to scramble more often. Injuries are a constant danger but it is not necessary for him to take off and run for 10 - 15 yards a pop. Scrambling for four or five yards when he thinks all his receivers are covered would suffice. Could even convert a few more third downs per game. And his ankle will not disintegrate by sliding to protect himself.

He has not been the same since his injury. I do believe I could beat him in 100 yard dash.

Nothing would open up the passing and running game more than Dak running. Why would anyone fall for an rpo/option if Dak always gives it to the rb and never runs? The D doesn't even have to think about it. And since Dak won't run teams will simply man up on D and double the hot hand, be it CeeDee or the TEs.

Dak has to run. There are so many opportunities where everyone is covered and be just has to run forward, slide, and get 4 or 5 yards. Don't be dumb and try to break tackles just slide wherever you can. He's simply not good enough to be a pocket passer

Problem with Dak is his mobility is what gave him depth as a quarterback. He's still capable of running and picking up first downs as we get glimpses from time to time however he is unwilling to on a regular basis now.

He is not a pure pocket passer, seems to NEVER throw the ball away and his horrendous at stepping up in the pocket.

He’s never been fast or quick, but he’s clearly lost a step or 2.D-lineman are able to chase him down now and not just 3-tech’s, 1-tech’s too. That shows you how slow he really is.

Honestly when Dak breaks pocket nothing good ever happens. In fact if the ball isn't out in the first 3 seconds of the play I know it's a negative play in coming.
Lol lol sad but very truthful he's so slow

He takes big big hits because he doesn't slide I guess it hurts to slide or something
