I was thinking about that today how both the Dallas Cowboys and the Andy Griffith show are celebrating 50 years. I have been watching a lot of the Andy Griffith shows on tv during this celebration. I have the complete series of the Andy Griffith show on dvd, but I also still like to watch it on tvland.

I'm not sure which is my favorite show per se, but two of my favorite scenes are:

Barney Fife- "Men, now here at the Rock we have two rules. Memorize them until you can say them in your sleep. Rule number one: obey all rules. Rule number two: no writing on the wall, as it is very difficult to remove writing from walls."

Ernest T. Bass- ‎"I got a rude- I bet you ain't never got no rude!"
