Flag football. Think back to the YMCA days. What are they practicing, attaching the flags to their shorts?
Thank you for your thoughts. All of our players are in the best shape of their lives!
Hey a few of us care.Who cares?
Hey a few of us care.
I live in Orlando, take the kids for a few cheap tickets and they have a good time.
I hope you accidently type up my recommendation letter to the Board of Mod-trustees! I need to get in before we win the superbowl!!!Thank you for your thoughts.
I will probably not watch any of it, unless by accident.
Agree but we shouldn't complain about this, it's just for fun, and it also raises the stakes on contract negotiations, a player can say Jerry I MADE THE PRO bowl!!! Jerry can say, we love taking care of our own, but we just need to make a spectacle out of you for a bit, and we'll pay you the biggest contract of your life!!!It cracks me up that some fans are super happy to see some of the Cowboys play in in this exhibition like it's some sort of massive honor.
The massive honor would have been to play in the game next week. Just ask Tom Brady what he used to say about the pro bowl.
It does mean a lot to the players. As making the team. That has nothing to do with if they play an actual game like they used to, or just run around in shorts with flags.Agree but we shouldn't complain about this, it's just for fun, and it also raises the stakes on contract negotiations, a player can say Jerry I MADE THE PRO bowl!!! I was just telling someone yesterday, it would be cool if they could play against someone else, maybe if another country had a football team we could go up against, or even the college all stars (the winner of the east/west game). I mean nobody wants to risk injury, so we'll see about thatIt does mean a lot to the players. As making the team. Kind of like making a list. Like the All Pro list, in which it is just an honor, no game was ever played for All Pro teams. So the pro bowl really is just a list now days. The difference being, there ar 55 players or whatever for each side. As opposed to 22 1st team all pro, 22 2nd team all pro. With that list consisting of AFC & NFC players. Not separate as the pro-bowl.
I believe years ago, that ended in the late 50's, or mid 60's or so. I believe before the pro-bowl started. I would need to look it up. The NFL all-stars played the NCAA college selected all stars in a game.
Yeah, the way things have changed. And most not for the better. What happened to the game I love? Smh
They went all in and we went all out!!What happened to the game I love? Smh
How about have the pro bowl selections play against the current national champion? NFL pro bowlers against Ohio State. That might be worth watching and would certainly be interesting.I was just telling someone yesterday, it would be cool if they could play against someone else, maybe if another country had a football team we could go up against, or even the college all stars (the winner of the east/west game). Those are called The Olympics.I was just telling someone yesterday, it would be cool if they could play against someone else, maybe if another country had a football team we could go up against
