Dallas Cowboys history: Cooper Rush is first quarterback in team history to win his first 4 starts

Speaking of team history though, Cooper Rush has carved out a very special place in it. By helping the Cowboys win their third game in a row with him under center this year Rush has now won his first four starts as the quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys. Nobody else has ever done this.

Former team quarterbacks Roger Staubach and Jason Garrett both got to 3-0 during their first three starts with the club, but neither was able to add a fourth win to their collection right off the bat. Cooper Rush was, and now stands alone in team history as the first quarterback to get to 4-0 in their first four starts.

He should start next week......and if he wins.....don't look back. Pretty simple decision in my book. But Jerry will complicate this because he has to justify how he spends his money.

I say, keep him in as long as the keep winning, then again, it is the same situation, why should he get pulled after a loss.

I remember that in 2016, fans saying, if Dak lost, time to put Tony back in, and Dak, the team did not have a great game against the Brown, but pulled out a win. Then it was, when do you bring Tony back in. After 6 or 7 wins in a row, then if he got a loss, that is like a slap in the face.

Is this really any difference, other than Tony was an aging injury prone QB as opposed to Dak, still young, and a few odd freak type injuries.
So the team (Jerry) will look and treat it different, rather the fans / media agrees or not.

If Rush and the team beats the Rams, then he deserves another start.
I like Dak to a degree, but you have to go with th winning hand also.

If he miraculously beats the Rams next week...

Dak is sitting out until Rush puts a couple clunkers together. Rush at least gets the eagles and lions game at that point
