Dallas Cowboys seem uninterested in free agent field goal kickers

Competition will be good I believe... They obviously want Buehler to win the job but Connor Hughes could be a surprise.

Just get someone to hit from 40 and in. God it shouldn't be that hard.

I just can't stand that kickers have so much impact on a game. I don't personally hate them like Hos :laugh2: but just the way 3 points can make or break a season drives me nuts.

yeah but are either one of them a proven field goal kicker, thats the point;

They'll let Hughes and Buehler battle it out in preseason, confident that if neither one of them wins the job clearly, they can always go get a veteran free agent even a few days before the start of the regular season and plug him in...

Connor was a good, reliable kicker in college... he hit on 83.5 per cent of his attempts in his college career (66 of 79). and 85.7 per cent his senior year (21 of 24)... he has range to about 50 yards, but not much longer... he was 5 of 6 from 40 or longer as a senior, his lone miss coming from beyond 50...

not sure you will find one. Those who have quality kickers are not letting them go and the ones who were let go was due to poor play so how much confidence would you have in them? Draft? Leigh Tiffin or Hunter Lawrence

Leigh Tiffin. I like Hunter Lawrence and he's accurate, but he just doesn't have the leg.
