Was it really? It was the one with the stars on it though so the shoulders were white, yes?

When did they go to white? I thought it was about having the lighter color on early in the season in Texas heat.

By the time I showed up, it was always white at home when the royal blues were “cursed.”

I liked those, still haven’t taken to the navy, maybe that’s part of it for me.

Around this time of year, the Cowboys usually announce what jersey colour they're using each week. I'm curious what it'd be. I would guess it'll be blue against Cleveland. Does anyone know?

The main part of the jersey was blue, I think they changed to white about 1964, has nothing to do with the heat, but was to ensure visiting team wore a colour rather than have blue v white every week. I have a soft spot for navy as living in England my first experience of seeing Cowboys was in 1985 on TV and they wore navy then and I thought what a cool uniform with the helmets
