Dallas D is the MOST penalized team in NFL?!

Hmm, something is not right there. No way we have 122 defensive penalties. That would be nine per game on defense. Maybe that's how many times opposing offenses have been penalized while we are on defense?

Dallas actually leads the league in opponents' penalties, or being penalized against, at 122. But NYG, which has just 113 penalties against, leads the laeauge in penalty yards, with 970. The Boys have committed just 75 penalties. We also lead in time of possession, as has been pointed out in an article posted on another thread.

No, our defense has not committed 122 penalties. Not even close. Those would be the penalties committed by the offenses we've faced.

Exactly. The opponent has committed 122 penalities while Dallas has committed 75.

You can look at it one of two ways...

The NFL is rigged and tries to fix games for the Cowboys.

OR

Dallas is the most disciplined team in the NFL.

They had about 122 penalties last week against KC. Had to be the most penalties against them this season.

Sounds like a Conspiracy that Joe Gibbs should investigate. :D

thats not right.those are penalties against the opponent not dallas.

or you can look at it like Dallas' D is confusing the hell out of opposing Os ;)

I bet most of those penalties are a combination of False Starts and Holding calls. That is just a testament to an improved pass rush.

That is not right!!!

The Cowboys have been successful in two areas that will benefit them in

future close games. They are tied with Indianapolis for the NFL's

fewest penalties (75) and have a plus-2 turnover margin. Both play

important factors in deciding field position, which becomes even more

important in these close games.
