I think you posted this a few times. I get fans are upset, but a change is needed and all we can hope for is a new head coaching regime to further MM’s program.

MM did something right, he took Garrett’s mess and did what he could with it and flushed house. We still have the stench of the JG era and it will take one more staff to completely overhaul this philosophy for Texas Coast Air Raid garbage we call an offense.

I’ll agree on schoon and Kneeland, both are trending the right direction. Guyton had another awful game though and mazi has gone from a liability on the field to a JAG…. Not exactly the step forward we were hoping for. All teams will occasionally miss round but to get negative production in back to back years isn’t good. Book isn’t closed on either guy but it’s a long way up for both.

Schoon is fine. More than fine actually. He just needs targets. That is on McCarthy also. His blocking has improved. He is solid on special teams. It's not his fault he isn't seeing the ball more. Instead of forcing the ball to Ferg and watching him have drops and get called for motion multiple times a game!

Mess is a strong word. They are certainly better than a third of the league. We got lucky today.

The thing is this is normal. They are drafting at a rate probably on par or better than most. Rookies struggle. This is why you don’t rely on the draft to win. This is why it doesn’t work.
