1-#26. Steve Avila 6’3 331 LG TCU 100% this is pick #26 1st round RB/TE won’t be there. Biggest value to not get Dak injured is enough reason.

2-#58 Tank Dell 5’8 165 WR Houston - weapon on offense that is missing - watching him beat Sauce convinced me. 1.49 burst 10. Underneath guy that no one can cover from the slot-

3-#90 Israel Abanikanda 5’10 215 RB Pitt perfect zone scheme RB

4-#129 Keondre Cobern 6’2 330 DT Texas I think he can be the DT1 starter

5-#176 Clayton Tune QB Houston 6’3 220- right round to take a shot - Tank Dell and Tune had 109 catches.

6-#212 Roschon Johnson RB Texas 6’0 225- big back check.

7-#244 Lachlan Pitts TE 6’6 250- project TE with a tone of upside that in a year could be special.

I would take that . . . Cooks would be the perfect role model for Dell

Think you’ve got some good players just a lot of reaches likely going a round too early.

Good names but I feel like bad value.

Drafttek’s latest mock is used for who is available and value in the round. Avila is early 2nd round but I get what your saying.

Definitely can help Dell out in terms of veteran moves for guys on the smaller side. Tank is more quick than deep threat though.
One underestimated skill that cooks possesses is His willingness to go across the face of the safety and catch the contested ball . . . He positions His body very well for a small WR

Think you are double dipping on big backs

I understand. Israel is a player that I’m very high on. He’s not soft in any way. If he runs 4.4 or 4.3 at the pro day tmw for Pitt he will be in the 2nd round. I’m not sure what Ronald Jones has so that’s why I went with Johnson instead of a guard or OT.

Just from watching the YouTube highlight clip, (Only resource I have) Israel looks awesome, looks a lot more explosive compared to running backs outside the top 2.

I don't want to wait until round 7 for a TE.
I agree but do you think Dalton Kincaid is a pro bowler or substantially better than what they have? I don’t.

I like TE Luke Schoonmaker in the 5th but with Clayton Tune available and I’m taking a shot. Dak’s contract is coming up again. Winning in the 5th could be huge. An extension with Dak would change the pick for me.

Looks unlikely that all the top TEs will be gone before 26.

Avilla is a nice prospect, but 26 is way too early for him.
He’s projected early 2nd and this late 1st. Book it. This is the pick: Team captain, position flex. Prototypical size weight. Allowed zero sacks last year. Fills a huge need. I’m not even concerned about their #26 anymore. This is a done deal

Ok. Israel Abanikanda ran 4.3. I have to move him up to the 2nd round.

1-#26. Steve Avila 6’3 331 LG TCU 100% this is pick #26 1st round RB/TE won’t be there. Biggest value to not get Dak injured is enough reason.

2-#58 Israel Abanikanda 5’10 215 RB Pitt perfect zone scheme RB- 41 in vert and 4.3 confirms the game tape.

3-#90 DeMarvion Overshown 6'3 235 MLB - 4.5 converted safety - perfect for the defensive scheme - explosive player that save important cap space/insurance for Leighton

4-#129 Keondre Cobern 6’2 330 DT Texas I think he can be the DT1 starter

5-#176 Antonio Mafi 6'4 335 OG UCLA - this guy is awesome wrecking ball and provides an OG for when Biadasz moves on to FA and Avila moves to center

6-#212 Brenton Strange TE 6'4 253 Penn - tough blocker with excellent feet and athleticism with the ball

7-#244 Derius Davis 5'8 165 WR TCU - 1.46 10 split - explosive playmaker and does seek out the punter to tackle him on returns

I'm sold on your first 4.

But what do you think about Kuntz in the 5th? Also I don't see the Cowboys drafting a 5'8 wr especially with Turpin on the team and not being used.
