i don't think 50 years in jail would ever get me to say "he's paid for it". you can rehabilitate someone from drugs and theft. if you kill someone, much less 2 people, explain to me how you 3-5 years in jails means you've paid for it. tell that to the other families...that their childrens' lives were only worth this much.

death takes it up a notch - this was unforgivable. he should rot in jail for life

Personally, I hope he gets hit by a bus on his way out of prison. * this guy.

What a horrible tragedy. I do find it hard to believe you could basically run over three people and not realize it, even if you were drunk.

With his second chance, Goodrich wants to finish his Sociology/Criminology degree at Tennessee, then move back to Dallas and launch a career in coaching and/or speaking to at-risk groups and individuals.

"I know I could help Pacman," he says. "Somebody better, before it's too late and he winds up in here."

Well, Pacman hasn't killed anyone... yet.
