Ok, if Dallas can win the next 2 games, (which is unlikely I know) but IF then the last game with wash could be
a win and your in game ! That would be fun if this were to happen.

It all starts with dallas beating TB, Eagles beat wash,Atl hopefully loses to giants, and seattle loses to vikings which probably happens,

Wash needs to lose the next 2 games, and Seattle would need to lose next 2 or all 3 games, which is possible since
Geno Smith hurt his knee this last game.( I doubt he comes back )
That leaves Atl and TB, one will win the div and the other one has to lose all 3 .
I dont think dallas could win tiebreakers except maybe with wash.

Atl already has 7 losses TB would have 7 if dallas beats them.
So if your a homer or would like to see the last game be exciting, root for wash,Atl,TB, and Sea to all lose this next weekend.

Wash plays the eagles, and I think they probably lose so thats one, the next one is Atl, which it is possible they could lose that one too.
The weak thing is that Atl plays the giants next, hard to think they lose that one, then wash, and wash needs to lose that, then they play raiders, and again
hard to see a loss there.
But maybe it is TB that loses out, and Atl wins div ?

TB plays cowboys (they have to lose this) then panthers and saints ,not likely but it could happen though.

Another victory by Washington and it is over. The next two games for Washington are home games where they are 5-2, losing to the Cowboys and Steelers.

Do you believe that Quinn is going to lose to the Falcons, his former team?

Washington isn't going to just win. They are going to tease us for 58 minutes and win in the final seconds just to torture us.

We needed the Saints to pull of that win.

The last thing I want is Jerry thinking, everything's fine. He's done a wonderful job. Let's rinse and repeat next year. Good God.
I can never root for this team to lose on a Sunday but I certainly won't be sad if we don't win another game this season.

Yep, if by any chance we make the play-offs, Jerry's grip tightens as he's achieved his goal....in a 'mail it in year' where he was able to carry over CAP.

If, as we all do, agree that the problem is Jerry we have to hope for a number of years of pain.... if we all agree that we wont achieve what we want ,with Jerry at the helm, then what will a fourth consecutive play-off do to his feeling of self importance as football genius.

That last loss in a winnable game really cost us. If he either falls on the blocked punt or didn’t touch it then we should win. Our Defense is making plays. Our Offense stutters and Rush can’t play consistently. Not to mention MM playcalling

I seriously doubt any of that happens. We just have to face the fact that this season has been a "wash". But, I guess hope springs eternal.

Almost impossible, like very impossible. But it could happen.
However, I can't stand the thought of the Eagles getting HFA. It is almost better for Washington to beat them, end our season. So we at least know we will have a top 19 pick.

Detroit and Minnesota win to keep them a game ahead of Philly for HFA.
Then hope one of those two teams win out regardless of what Philly does.

Atlanta's win last night did not help in this scenario either.

Let's get eliminated. Then we all should not care about anymore wins. I will root for them, but won't care if we lose. Heck even Sunday night, I won't care. The team will be playing for division pride against Philly and Washington.

Usually I am for, root for wins until eliminated. But I also know what those possibilities are. Pretty much zero.
It is like, how soon will my coffee, not freeze, but get cold in the arctic before I can finish it (if outside). O maybe I would freeze first.

It's basically a 1% (or less) chance at best...and we'd get bounced in the first round of the playoffs in the extremely unlikely event we luck into making the playoffs. Would it benefit the Cowboys next season and in future seasons to luck into the playoffs and get bounced in the first round? Would getting eliminated as soon as possible benefit the Cowboys next season and into the future more? Seems an obvious answer. While I hate the idea of the Cowboys losing, I acknowledge that the earlier they get eliminated the better long-term. I won't root for it, but I won't mind it either. I'd probably root for losses by this point if I trusted the Cowboys drafting more and thought they'd do some actual work in free agency.

So at this point in the season, I'll smile when the Cowboys get wins and I'll smile if they get losses and I'll hope for no more freaking injuries and hope they put guys that need development in games for experience.
