I guess a police chase in Dallas is news. lol

Houston seems to get police chases weekly.. *smh*

I was on the 44th flloor of an offcie building downtown and they went right under me.

He had a girl with him, was armed, and was flying through the middle of the central business district during the middle of a workday.

That made it more newsworthy than the average freeway chase scene.

What a dillweed. lol
At least there were no serious injuires.

Was the girl the hostage? Why'd he run?

"Dallas police policy says officers can generally only chase suspects wanted for violent felonies."

That's a good policy.

He was an armed robbery suspect.
The women was supposedly the mother of his child and was pulled into the SUV against her will.

I think in the end--once he realized no way he was escaping--he was actually trying surrender (called police on his cell) but didn't want to get blown away if he got out of the car. He went downtown a bit longer then got out and got on the ground. Because he was armed, it was a good ending for sure.

Oh yeah, we wasn't armed like your average Joe, he had a handgun and...an AK-47. Jeesh
