is dallas the only team that has their starting QB as a holder for a kicker?
I know alot of teams use a back up so that if snap goes bad or if they want to do a trick play they have a QB to get rid of the ball. But I don't ever recall a team deciding to use their starter.

He has been our holder so we dont wanna change what is not broke.

Too bad our kicking game is kinda broke - not Romo's holding that is the problem tho.

Maybe now that Vandy's gone and the familiarity is unimportant - that will end.

Ladies and gents, we've just discovered why Vandy was released.

plummer was holding as well. but he's out as starter- can't think of anyone else.

I don't think having Romo in there is such a bad idea really. It leaves alot of options open for bad snaps, trick plays, etc.

I remember in 1990 when Phil Simms went down for the Giants, Jeff Hostetler the backup QB was the holder for Matt Bahr's FGs and when Simms went down, Hostetler remained the holder as he filled in as the starting QB. The Giants went to the superbowl that year :)

Brad Johnson has held in the past. I don't know about now.

Edit: Johnson isn't holding, it's their punter. Plummer does hold for Denver.

You know there's a fake kick waiting to happen at some point. I would assume Witten or Fabini are in there on special teams?

If we are going to change the holder we should do it now with a new kicker
