Dallas trades 12,149 to Green Bay for 23,54,124 Close enough and would allow for Dallas to have:

Round 1: No. 23 -- Tyliek Williams, DT Ohio State
Round 2: No. 44 -- Jayden Higgins, WR
Round 2: No. 54 -- Darien Porter, CB Iowa State
Round 3: No. 76 -- Quinton Judkins, RB Ohio State
Round 4: No.124 -- Demetrius Knight Jr. SC or Danny Stutsman, OK LB --- whichever Dallas thinks would make the best Mike
All of these could be starting by mid season.

Then we get to the developmental guys:
Round 5: No. 174 -- Ty Robinson, DT Nebraska
Round 6: No. 204 -- Tahj Brooks, RB TT
Round 6: No. 211 -- Teddye Buchanan, LB California
Round 7: No. 217 -- Jack Nelson, OT Wisconsin
Round 7: No. 239 -- Carson Vinson OT Alabama A&M or Dalton Cooper OT Oklahoma State
Round 7: No. 247 -- Thor Griffith, DT or Ja'Corey Brooks WR both from Louisville

Tyliek? Him and Mazi solidifies the DL.
Jayden? He looks like a future awesome #2 and being a 2nd rounder won't have to replace CD, but still can support him.
Darien? Enough size and speed to cover the new big WR. 6'3" with 4.3 speed. Plays outside and would push Bland back to the slot where he started and really belongs, IMO.
Quinton? Best RB available at that time -- I don't think you go wrong with him.
Knight or Stutsman? Will be a starting Mike by mid year.

We have a good 3T but Ty Robinson could be a very good one.
Tahj Brooks is a bell cow just hand him the ball and he will get you yards, nothing special
Teddye Buchanan.......LB with speed
Tackles to develop.....we will always need.
I just like Thor Griffith, he is strong. Last pick of the draft for Dallas. If not him, get Desmond Watson.....odds are these guys don't develop ---- but if they do......... or another developmental WR????

So how would you feel, if this is the draft Dallas came up with?

Is the WR drafted high enough?
Is the RB drafted high enough?
Would they consider drafting a 1T in the bottom of the 1st round after already getting Mazi?
Would they consider drafting a Mike higher, or do they have the ones already they think are it?

The draft is a upgrade and development game to me. Does Dallas see it that way?

I love Higgins. He’s going to be a stud.

He’s my 3rd favorite receiver behind Kyle Williams and Golden

Couldn’t Judkins & Brooks put Sanders & Williams at risk of being cut at the end of pre season . Not a bad tandem at RB and both under rookie contracts with Vaughn your gadget player .

I think I would be able to build a legit power running game with these two. Might not be a home run guy there, but Emmitt wasn't, Earl Campbell wasn't, the Bus wasn't, many great backs weren't speed guys and still own rings.

Overall it's not bad at all.
I love Williams as our new starting 1T, dude has 10 year starter written all over him.
Higgins would be a very good #2 WR and help alleviate the pressure on CDL.
Porter isn't my favorite, but is good enough to be a starter til Diggs returns and add depth.
Judkins will do well as our RB, I really don't see a need to take Brooks also.
I'd take Stutsman over Knight. Robinson and Buchanan are good late rd picks.

Thank you, this is what I was looking for.......just some thoughts on why or why not.

Here is the thought on Brooks.......If Judkins gets injured, you have a bell cow back that is used to hauling the rock 30 times a game. No, he is not quick or fast, but maybe he can take on some of the blocking, and still be at least a threat when he does get his 10-15 plays a game.

And I keep waffling back and forth between Stutsman and Knight....they both could be good, or both could bust. I just don't want average at Mike.

People really need to start watching free agency closer to get a good idea of where the team is headed. Cowboys added pieces all of the field except at WR.

They’re gonna draft Golden in the 1st and probably best available DT/DE/LB in round 2. They’ll add the RB in round 3 becsuse this class is deep at RB.

Yes, but they also already used assets, a 4th rd pick, to get a WR in Mingo.
Do I think that stops them from drafting one? no, but it may keep them from feeling the need to draft 1 and sets them up to go legit BPA at 12. Good chance that is a WR, but it may not be.

Bro, Mingo doesn’t determine anything. The Cowboys spent a first on DT two years ago and signed Osa to a massive deal. Zero percent chance they pick DT at 12.

Bro, as I said, Mingo wouldn't keep me from drafting a WR, but in their minds he may keep them from doing so at 12 if WR isn't BPA. That's my point about Mingo.
And no one in this post said anything about taking a DT at 12 did they?
Osa is a 3T. Williams is a 1T, and a darn good one. Mazi is on bust alert and Dallas needs to sure up their run defense.

They have added Mingo with their 4th rd pick this year. Parris Campbell. Have Tolbert, Brooks, and Flournoy. That is 5 people for 3-4 slots as CD and Turpin already have 2 of the 5-6 ones that will make the team.

While yes WR is important, IMO, trading down and getting one in the second would be a better plan.
