Yeah , mark me down a concernedHis resume is going to be as good as most candidates. He is well-connected within football so can easily find an OC and sell the GM on his plan. Hackett was just terrible but even Vic Fangio before him had them at 7 wins with no QB so Quinn could probably do better.
He also was with the Seahawks during their two years with Russell Wilson so there is plenty of familiarity there. I don't think he will be turned off by how bad Wilson looked this year. For him it's a no-brainer, if he's looking to get back into HC then you might as well take your chances with a QB you know than go to some rebuilding team trying to find their next QB in the draft.
I was all in on Quinn earlier in the season, but now it appears he needs talent to win like all coaches. If he leaves to be a HC, he won’t leave to go to a dumpster fire that has issues on offense. Their defense was one of the best in the league, their offense is broken.
What sense would it make to bring in a defensive coach lol?
Glad to see Caldwell name high on that list.
It’s a crime that he doesn’t have an NFL HC job.
