Fire Quinn, he should be cleaning out his desk already. replace him with Al Harris. Bring back fat Mike, and dak one more year. Quinn is Shanahans *****. Always has been. Most of the boys biggest loses have been at the hand of Shanahan disciples. They have Shanahans blue print.

Like he should have been escorted off the property once the clock hit 0:00......and all his belongings at the facility mailed to him!

I’ve been on this for over a year. Dude got a free pass cause he took over from Nolan. He’s perhaps the overrated coach in sports. Good riddance

The defense is not built to play from behind. That was not a secret. So, I agree that it's someone's fault. The HC, ST, DC, and QB can all hit the road as far as I'm concerned.

Same. Why are we playing six db’s against the run. The whole defense is undersized and gets bullied by tough teams. It’s not their fault. It’s his scheme. Quinn has improved the defense to be fair but he can’t take them to the next level. Stephen and Jerry signing scrubs like kerse from the bargain bin does not do Quinn any favors either. There are only ten guys off this defense I would keep.

Will it matter if Jerry fails to bring in the personnel to shore up the line or LB corps?

I agree it's time for him to move on, but we still can't trust Jerry to properly fill holes in the roster.

Well that happens in the NFL. His defense allowed GB to travel 75 yards and score first. And his defense allowed GB to continue to score touchdown after touchdown. GB had what 2 punts? And one is because they was trying to run out the clock as much as possible after being up by so many points. That was the worst defensive performance I have seen from the Cowboys all season let alone a playoff game. Guys constantly wide open. On 3rd and like 8 we have CB's 15 yards off of the wr and allow the easy pitch and catch. It's like what kind of defense were we playing? It was a terrible performance. No one on defense deserved a game check.

Yes Jerry needs to do his job. Diggs was lost Jerry did nothing, lve was lost Jerry did nothing. There were people available. We could have had Henry for a third, could have had pat surtain for a premium pick. Could have drafted a linebacker instead of mazi an undersized slow dt, or schoon an aged tightend with bad knees. All Jerry did was trade a 4th for a qb who will never play.

They were the ones allowed the first score and started playing from behind. LOL

But how much of that was Quinn claiming he had the personnel to make it work? I am not absolving Jerry for personnel decisions. I have talked to many Atlanta fans and they couldn’t wait to get rid of Quinn. They said his defenses always failed in big games and he was out-couched.

Shanahan with Matty ice is the reason Atlanta made it to the Super Bowl. As soon as shanny was gone. Atlanta went to crap

So throwing a pick 6 and giving the opposing offense a short field was helpful for your already struggling defense?

Huge step back for the defense this season. Anytime we faced an explosive offense, we got blown out. The win vs Philly and the close game vs Miami don’t look good anymore because both those teams fell apart.

McCarthy is going to be receiving a lot of questions by the media. But Dan Quinn should have to answer for the type of game that he called. And should be questioned what he was thinking if he's going to be interviewed for a new head coaching job,

I don't like to make hasty decisions after a tough loss, but I have lost faith in Quinn over the last month so I don't think my reaction now is hasty. We are not going to solve teh run defense with Quinn's philosophy on defense. We cannot stay small and expect to stop the run. We need to be more physical on defense. It is strange to me how Quinn likes big DBs but small DL and LB. I want speedy DBs and big strong physical DL, with rangy instinctive LBs.

I think Quinn probably lost a few HC opportunities with his performance yesterday. It would have been nice to see him get a job somewhere else. But now Jerry has to fire him.

As for Al Harris, I don't know much about him but he does seem to have good teaching skills with the DBs who actually play DB. I would definitely interview him for the job and get his thoughts on how he would improve the defense. If he says "big strong DL", I would hire him.
