Dan Quinn or Mike McCarthy

Lets say Dan Quinn gets offered a head coaching job.

If you're Jerry......

Would you offer Quinn the Head Coaching job with the understanding he keeps the defense progressing as it has been over the last couple of years and allow him to bring in another offensive coordinator to make changes to this offense?

OR do you let Quinn walk and stay with McCarthy and Kellen Moore and bring in someone else to run the defense?

If I'm Jerry I see that the way Quinn has motivated his player and made the necessary changes throughout the season to keep his defense playing above expectations. Quinn and the defense adapted and overcame injuries all season long. Its clear to me that these Quinn has the respect of his players.

I cant see us improving if Quinn leaves and we go another season with Moore and McCarthy. I think McCarthy has done a great job but i think unless we make changes to the offense nothing will change. I know many will say Dak is the problem, but lets face it. Dak's not going anywhere.

Which option do you take?

Whatever option brings in a new, different offensive scheme. I’m afraid that if DQ were to be made HC(he won’t be) then everything stays the same on offense. Heck, it probably stays the same anyways if MM remains……

I think Quinn is gone, probably either Arizona or Indy if the rumors are true.

Defense might suck next year without Quinn, its a very high possibility.

A change of culture is needed on the offensive side of the ball. The best way to do that is to cut ties with Moore. Dak needs a wake-up call that either makes or breaks him. His contract will end in two years, so he needs to know now that this is his last hurrah. Unfortunately, the likelihood is he will break, which is why we need to have his replacement on the roster this coming season.
